Big South Paddle offers a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty for manufacturing defects on all new kayaks/canoes and a 1 year warranty on the pedal drive. Big South Paddle with repair or replace the product if the warranty claim is eligible. The warranty is not transferrable and applies to the original purchaser. Kayaks/canoes must be purchased from an authorized Big South Paddle dealer to be eligible. All warranty claims require a proof of purchase. Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty.


Big South Paddle offers a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty on all new inflatable purchases. This warranty is only available against defects that are a result of manufacturing. To qualify, you must supply proof of purchase and be the original purchaser. The warranty is not transferable.

How do I submit a claim?

What do I need to make a claim?
To submit your claim, you will need a proof of purchase, and you will have to be the original owner.

What happens after I submit my claim?
Once your claim is submitted, it will be reviewed by our warranty team to establish eligibility. You will be contacted in 2-3 business days of your request. If your claim is eligible, Big South Paddle will replace or repair the boat on the claim.

What isn’t covered under the warranty?
Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty. Normal wear and tear include abrasions, chipping or color fading. The warranty does not cover cosmetic defects.

Any damage from misuse, commercial use, rental use, improper storage, accident, modifications, excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling, damage from towing, damage to scupper holes from carts or objects placed in supper holes.
